The 10th annual Make Smoking History MAX Pinjarra is once again proud to play host to the Monaro Club of WA, Monaro State Titles. We are expecting close to 100 Monaros of all Years and Models and all will be competeing for State Title awards, ANDMax awards as well. So if you have a MOnaro, you can enter 2 shows for the price of 1, which is only $15 or $20 if you want to enter on the day..

The Monaro State Titles is only a small part of a huge event, with over 300 cars, bikes , hot rods and more, free entertainment for the kids, food truck festival, dyno, car audio comp and more, there is plenty of reason to put sunday 7th April in your diary.

The Monaro State Titles are held every 2 years, and in 2017, over 60 Monaros graced the beautiful grassed arena of Sir Ross McLarty Oval, Pinjarra.

Add to that the Panel Van State Titles, A Ute Muster, Dyno Comp and a car audio comp and the day gets bigger.

If mum and dad can save a dollar or two on kids rides or face painting, that means they have a dollar or two to buy the kids an icecream or something to eat”. If the kids are happy, mum and dad are happy as well”.

Gates will be opening at 10am and admission prices are only $10 for adults, with (accompanied) kids under 16 free, “we pride ourselves on presenting an event that really is family friendly, and won’t be too painful on the hip pocket. ” says MAX co ordinator Richie Howlett. There is loads of off street parking, free disabled parking inside the grounds (ACROD Permit Holders only) , and we have the popular “show off parking” where visitors with cool and unique cars they don’t want to park on the street, can park inside the grounds for an extra $5.

Make Smoking History MAX Pinjarra is coming up on Easter Sunday, April 1 at Sir Ross McLarty Oval in Pinjarra.

Once again, Mitch and his crew at Peel Bus Charters have given us a bus so we can take you around town.

The bus will be leaving the oval every half hour, starting from 10.30am until 2pm and will be visiting places like the Premier Hotel, the Pinjarra Bakery, the Dome and the really cool Roger May Machinery Museum. It's a free service for who ever wants to use it.

Make Smoking History MAX Pinjarra will once again be showcasing some of the best Street Machines, Hot rods and motorbikes in the State along with Racing Lawnmowers (yes you read it right!), Jet Sprint Boats, Panel Van State Titles, Ute Muster and plenty more, it will be a huge day.

Admission is Only $10 adults with kids under 16 free, with plenty of free activities for the kids, a food truck festival, market and trade stalls there will be something there for the whole family. Make Smoking History MAX Pinjarra is a not for profit organisation, and as such, we love giving back to the community.

First of all, we keep our admission fees low. Adults $10, kids under 16 are free, so everyone can enjoy our event without breaking the bank.

We spend over $5000 to provide free entertainment for the kids. At MAX 2018 we will have pony rides, kids diggers, bouncy castles, slot cars, a petting zoo and face painting all supplied free of charge to the kids.

Pictured left is the MAX comittee Chairman Bryan (Fred) Greenslade presenting Ridiing for the Disabled with a cheque, we also donated money to Camp Quality, who also raised money through their food van, and money was given to the Monaro Club of WA for their support of the Monaro State Title show.

The gang from Western Australia Car Audio will be crankin up the bass at the 2018 Make Smoking History MAX Pinjarra. Not only will they have a display of hair raising car audio set ups, but they will running a car audio comp as well.

5 trophies up for grabs, including Novice, Street and Open as well as trophies for best install and most components.
